  1. New York is definitely on my list of places to go. I definitely want to go to Central Park and I have wanted to every since I was a kid, because one of my favourite movies was an animated movie called "A Troll in Central Park". It's great that you've been able to incorporate all of these details into your stories. :)

  2. Thanks for visiting, Bonnee, and you will visit NYC in the future. It's an amazing city with so many things to see and do. I lived there for four years as a student, so know Manhattan very well. Maybe in a future novel, you can incorporate many details from Melbourne in the storyline. Many American literary agents post that they like to read a novel taking them to a new place and Australia is place that people like to read about. (one version of my picture book is about a little girl and her Wombat living in Tasmania, but I don't actively query it).

    1. I'd love to write a book that is set in Melbourne and share it with people elsewhere in the world. And that sounds like a really awesome picture-book! :) Have you ever read Possum Magic by Mem Fox? Best Australian picture-story book ever!
